Terms of service

last updated 7 September 2026

The agreement

These terms are between you and Quilt Labs LLC, which operates SlideScale. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are using SlideScale for a company, you confirm you are allowed to agree on its behalf.

What SlideScale does

SlideScale assembles TikTok-format slideshow posts from images and hooks you provide. It writes body copy using an AI model, renders the slides, and gives you a folder of image files and captions to download.

Connecting a TikTok account is optional. If you connect one, SlideScale can also read the public metrics on your own posts, and send finished slideshows to your TikTok drafts.

SlideScale does not publish anything to your profile. Posts we send land in your TikTok drafts. Nothing goes live until you open TikTok and post it yourself, choosing the sound, the cover and the audience at that point. Whether a post ships, and what it says when it does, is always your decision.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your login. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You must be 18 or older to use SlideScale.

Your content stays yours

The images you upload, the hooks you write and the posts you generate belong to you. We claim no ownership of any of it.

You give us a limited licence to store, process and display your content strictly to run the service for you — storing your images, rendering your slides, showing them back to you in the studio. That licence covers nothing else. We will not use your content in marketing, publish it, sell it, or use it to train models.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. Do not upload images you do not have permission to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use SlideScale to:

  • Create content that is illegal, that harasses or defames someone, or that sexualises minors.
  • Impersonate a person, business or brand you have no right to represent.
  • Make claims about a product you know to be false, or health, financial or legal claims you cannot support.
  • Break TikTok's terms or community guidelines. What you post is your responsibility, and platform enforcement is between you and the platform.
  • Resell SlideScale, share one account across a team to avoid paying for it, or attempt to extract the service's code or models.
  • Attack the service — probing for holes, scraping, hammering the API, or getting around the plan limits.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

What you get, and what it costs

Building is free. You can upload images, write hooks and generate a batch on the free plan without a card, subject to the limits shown in the studio. Exporting the rendered files requires a subscription.

The subscription is $29.99 per month, charged in advance, and includes up to 300 posts per calendar month. The allowance resets on the 1st. Generated hooks are capped separately at a level well above ordinary use; hooks you write or paste yourself are never capped.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time from the billing page. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate part-months.

If something on our side prevented you from using what you paid for, email us — we would rather sort it out than argue about it. Where consumer law in your country gives you a right to a refund, that right applies and nothing here overrides it.

If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

Results are not guaranteed

SlideScale makes it cheap to post at volume. It cannot make a post perform. Reach on TikTok is decided by TikTok, and no tool — this one included — controls it.

Nothing on this site is a promise of views, followers, engagement or revenue. The examples we show are illustrations of the format, not typical results, and volume improves your odds rather than assuring an outcome.

AI-generated copy

Body copy and hooks are written by an AI model. Models make things up. Read what it wrote before you post it — particularly anything stating a fact about your product, a price, a guarantee, or a health, legal or financial claim.

You are the publisher of everything you post, and responsible for its accuracy. Similar output can be generated for different customers, so we cannot promise any generated line is unique to you.

Availability

We aim to keep SlideScale running and have no scheduled downtime, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime and the service is provided as is. Parts of it depend on providers we do not control — TikTok, Stripe, Anthropic and our hosts — and an outage at one of them can become an outage here.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Quilt Labs LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or indirect and consequential losses arising from your use of SlideScale. Our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending it

You can stop using SlideScale and delete your account at any time. We may end this agreement if you break these terms, or with 30 days notice for any other reason — in which case we will refund the unused part of your current period.

Export anything you want to keep before you close the account. Deletion removes your pools, hooks and batches, and it is not reversible.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you before they take effect, and continuing to use SlideScale afterwards means you accept them. The date at the top always reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and disputes will be heard by the courts there.
